I'm a full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience shipping production software across mobile and web working with a large variety of technologies, from early-stage MVPs to platforms handling thousands of daily users.
I started Solution Scaled because I wanted to build the kind of software I'd want to use myself: fast, reliable, and maintainable. No enterprise bloat, no chaos, just solid engineering that's easy to use, and built to last.
The secret behind any good project is actually people. With everything I do, I focus on the user's journey, and I make sure to keep you in the loop every step of the way and I don't disappear after launch. I provide monitoring, alerts, and ongoing maintenance. At the end of the day, we are human and humans make mistakes. I want to make sure that when those mistakes happen, you have someone to help you fix them.
On a personal level, I studied Computer Science at Teesside University and I'm a true nerd at heart. I enjoy all the classics: Dungeons and Dragons, board games, tinkering with electronics, and anything that keeps the brain engaged.

I run Solution Scaled mostly solo, but I'd never pretend every project is a one-man job. Some projects just need more hands, or people with skills I don't have. For those, I've got a small circle of people I trust and have worked with before. UI/UX designers and branding folks for when the look and feel matters as much as the code. AI specialists when we're doing something clever. Extra engineers when a project is big enough that one person would become the bottleneck. And if you're building in a specific industry - healthcare, hospitality, logistics - I can bring in an advisor who actually knows that world, so we're not learning your rules the hard way.
There's also a good chance you already have a team, and that's fine too. I'm just as happy to slot in and work alongside your existing developers and designers as I am to take the wheel. Or, if you'd rather not manage anything at all, I can act as project manager - coordinating everyone, keeping things on track, and making sure you always know where things stand. Either way, you end up with one person who's accountable for the whole thing, not a black box of contractors.

A multi-tenancy SaaS booking and management platform (split API and frontend) for both customer and internal use. Handles customer CRM, staff availability calendars and reporting, and automated booking confirmations.
Multiple LLMs, vector search, and custom knowledge base
Built to be used by internal staff to get data analytics and insights from a custom knowledge base. Uses multiple LLMs, vector searching, and a custom knowledge base to provide accurate and relevant answers to staff questions - providing charts and reports to accompany analytical data. The project is split into multiple supporting services and an overarching chat interface which connects to multiple MCP services to get data and insights from different systems and APIs within the business.
